About me
COUNSELLOR & PSYCHOTHERAPIST (Dipls. Psych., Adv Psych., UKCP reg)
Over a decade of clinical practice as a transpersonal and integrative psychotherapist, I’ve supported people navigating self-doubt, silencing, people-pleasing, emotional manipulation, and loss of self. These patterns often sit beneath a huge range of symptoms including depression, anxiety, stress, chronic illness, numbness to feelings, and recurring difficulties in relationships.
Alongside seven years of advanced psychotherapeutic training at CCPE in London, my work is shaped by my own long-standing spiritual and contemplative practices. While each person’s path is unique, it matters deeply to me that theory is grounded in lived experience, rather than held as concept alone. I’ve come to trust and understand healing as a process of remembering and return – not becoming someone new, but reconnecting with what has been silenced or overridden. This often involves uncompromising honesty and the willingness to gradually surrender identities and ways of being that once protected, but now limit us.
Earlier in my professional life, I worked in the publishing industry as a literary editor for fifteen years. This background continues to inform my search for the deeper meaning of the story that’s trying to be told. While my work is not focused on technique or craft, I often work with writers who want to remove the blocks to self-expression and trust in their own voice.
I work in private practice, offering long-term psychotherapy, one-off therapeutic consultations, and time-limited intensives. I’m committed to ongoing professional development, clinical supervision, and embodied practice, including Yoga and meditation. In addition to my private practice, I’m a staff member at CCPE, facilitating psychotherapy students in training.
